Covent Lounge Chair Upholstery:Hemp Lars Tornøe designed the KizuThe New Works Covent Lounge Chair reads as a single upholstered volume that runs straight from seat to floor, with no legs or framework interrupting its outline. A plywood core frame layered with foam, fibertex, and wadding holds that curved shape, while its metal fittings and floor glides stay hidden beneath the fabric. Arde Design Studio, the Copenhagen practice founded by Rene Hougaard, designed the chair for New Works as the starting point for the
