This unusual antique ring (circa 1900 1910) holds a natural, untreated blue sapphire of approximately 1. 5 carats and 18 diamonds (16 single cuts and 2 rose cut stones). The top of the ring measures 1 inch from north to south by 0. 35 inches from east to west. It is unmarked, but acid tests as 14k gold with a thin silver overlay near the diamonds.
