It depicts a boy practicing walking on bamboo stilts in the snow, while a girl watches carefully. This was a common pastime in those days, but now handmade bamboo stilts are rarely seen, and such play is becoming less common. Published in 1957 by Kyoto Hanga in, the artist's signature, "Keiko," along with her red seal,
