The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. This owl pendant was originally a vintage silver plated brooch (circa 1910). Our jeweler transformed the owl by removing the pin stem and welding on a sterling silver bail.
