Kanpai Pendant Lamp ceramic vase Poise is sand cast withThe starting point for Kanpai, which means bell in Basque, was the memory of a turtle shaped bell belonging to Basque designer Ander Lizaso's grandparents. Kanpai's form is simple and straightforward: a domed volume sits above a banded collar, the geometry familiar and almost archetypal. The entire form is made from sand cast aluminium, raw and untreated. Sand casting is an ancient process where molten metal is poured into a mould formed from
