Cask No. 85.76 11 – 15 years towards the finish we foundThe neat nose suggested cherry distillate, then lanolin, salted milk chocolate, dry roasted peanuts and hessian. Beyond that we also found some wonderfully damp earthy tones, raisins and hints of walnut and rosewater. Reduction brought camphor, pure salty old bodega funk, dried sage, mint tea and dark fruits stewed in armagnac.
