Heres my history with Magic: The Gathering : I played it compulsively about 20 years ago, until I ran into That Guy, who had narrowed the total focus of his life down to building intricate lawnmower decks that would destroy other players four to six at a time
Having played all three decks in both two-person and three-person play, we enjoyed the Sapphire and Steel deck the most, as its basically unstoppable (at least compared to the other Starter Decks) when ramped up properly
It has the added advantage of never being dead at any stage, a 2/2 flash vigilance isn't all that bad just as something to curve out with instead of using as a surprise blocker / bonus attacker
Playing online, we've yet to run into this deck on the Standard queue, but you should probably give it a spin: it could turn out to be one of the best MTG Arena decks of January
